Citizen
We're very proud of Citizen – it's Norwich City Council's regular
communication with residents and businesses, produced four times a year.
We initially redesigned it in February 2007 when it went monthly
and we've recently refreshed it to mark its return to being a quarterly publication.
It's 24 pages, full colour, with a 60,000 print run.
ActiveKidz leaflets
A four page leaflet to promote a new scheme for children run by the Norman Centre. The brief was to stick to the overall Norman Centre look and feel (which we developed as part of their rebrand) but to make the leaflets more appealing to youngsters.
Tenant Talk
Tenant Talk is a lively, informative, 16 page magazine, produced three times a year and sent to all Norwich City Council tenants and leaseholders. giant was commissioned to redesign the magazine in January 2006 and has designed every issue since.
Conservation Area Appraisals
A series of documents outlining the historical and architectural importance of buildings in certain conservation areas in Norwich.
We were asked to produce a template and design that can be rolled
out across all 17 areas with different colour pallets in each.
So far three have been produced, all at 210mm x 210mm, and varying
in length between 20 and 28 pages.
Civic Charity leaflet 2006/07
A leaflet to promote BREAK, the charity chosen by Norwich's Lord Mayor and Sheriff for their year in office. We were asked to produce an eye-catching yet not glossy leaflet that showed the aims of the charities and called people to action.
Norwich Market promotional leaflet
A six page full colour leaflet highlighting some of the huge variety of goods available on the new Norwich Market. Also included is a map of the market which we produced as part of the market signage project.
Streetscape Design Manual
This 40 page manual is a guide for all organisations involved in street design in Norwich city centre. Containing photographs, diagrams and illustrations it covers all areas of street design – from highway alignment, ground surfaces, street furniture, lighting, traffic signals, cctv, signs, road markings and planting.
